Governor Message
The Department of Science & Technology is not only providing a chance to our youth to think in a scientific way, but also bringing a sense of participation for national innovative development, which is the need of the time in this era of Science and Technology. Activities like SMC can go hand in hand with intense research and reflection on the forms, content, and objectives of the popularization of science and technology. With the cumulative knowledge gained from this initiative stemming from the growing demand in society for broad access to science and technology, the creation of S&T Museums, Science center, Science clubs, is need of the time. However, coordinated, sound, sustainable and well planed effective action on solid foundations are very necessary likely to be undertaken by the different S & T and R & D department like Directorate of Science & Technology (NWFP). Participation of our youth in the SMC is very encouraging and will lead to future development of scientists and researchers. I wish all the best to the organizer and the participants. I am sure that the activity will be extended and expanded to other levels of S&T system
